Our 1st Anniversary Trip to St. Louis

Tim and I decided a while back to take a trip for our 1st anniversary to St. Louis, MO. We had so much fun and would highly recommend it to anyone. We drove there on Saturday, stopping for lunch in Sikeston, MO at Lambert's Cafe (home of the throwed rolls). :) When we arrived, we drove straight to the Gateway Arch in downtown St. Louis. Yes, we happened to be there the night that the people got stuck in the arch for 3 hours. Thank the Lord, we left an hour before the power went out and watched the story on the news in our hotel room in shock! Anyway, we then drove around downtown for a bit to look around. Afterwards, we made the journey to our hotel which was about 30 minutes from downtown. We stayed at the Holiday Inn at Six Flags. It was a very nice hotel! On Sunday, we went to Six Flags all day and did just about everything there was to do there. Thankfully, we had gotten free passes from a Memphis Redbirds game. We had a blast. I even got Tim to ride all of the roller coasters with me. That was a challenge considering he doesn't really care for them that much. That night, Tim took me to eat at the restaurant in our hotel, it was very nice. We enjoyed a great evening together! Monday morning we slept in until 9:30 and then got up and headed home. We give God the glory for this wonderful 1st year of marriage and pray that He will bless us with many more to come! I love you Timothy Lee Lindsay!

We thought it would be fun and funny to take pictures in front of these museum exhibits. It looks like you are really there....sort of.
